We're Still Here
Hi friends and family! It's been a while since I've posted pictures of the day, and even as I write this I hope to have time to do it today but I'm just not sure. The reason is that I had a string of deadlines and travel for work, which means anytime I had free I spent not on the computer. I've come to realize that if I have to give up quality time with Rowan to create blog posts about Rowan (supposedly for Rowan to enjoy one day) it's not always a good tradeoff, especially when I'm particularly busy.
Life is exciting and wonderful, as usual. Rowan and I have been doing some camping and hiking, as you've seen from the pictures -- just yesterday we went hiking after some rain, and it turned out the rain wasn't done yet! We got totally drenched, but it was pretty awesome. Tom was at home working on his new and very interesting hobby of brewing beer. He started just after Christmas with a couple of simple recipes and yesterday started a complex Belgian that will need two months of fermenting (etc.) before it's ready to drink.
Well, off for another day of exciting work. I love dropping Rowan at preschool now because he loves being there with his friends and his great teachers. Today as I was leaving he shouted, "Bye Mommy! Have a great day at work!" :)
